  • Location: Remote / Flexible (meeting occasionally in Los Angeles)
  • Compensation: Unpaid co-founder role at the current stage, with potential for future equity/compensation as the company grows

About the Company

We’re an early-stage venture in the upscale baby and child development space.

Join a seasoned veteran tech professional with over 13 years of experience in the tech industry, and a serial entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in logistics.

We’re building a new kind of experience for families who care deeply about their children’s growth—from early years through childhood. Our work brings together skilled educators and child-development professionals across areas such as music, math, arts, and spirituality, with a focus on quality, trust, and a premium feel.

We’re still in the concept and early-build phase, and we’re looking for a co-founder who wants to help shape both the brand and the story from the ground up.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Co-Founder – Brand & Media Lead who will be the public face and voice of the company. You will:

  • Represent the brand across social media and public channels
  • Host or co-host a podcast related to parenting, children’s growth, and modern family life
  • Lead content creation (blog, social posts, video scripts, newsletters)
  • Help build and nurture a community of parents and professionals
  • Provide professional input on child development

This is an unpaid co-founder role at this stage, ideal for someone who cares about children’s development and wants to help build a meaningful brand from zero.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Image & Public Presence

  • Act as the image and voice of the company across media and online platforms
  • Host or co-host a podcast featuring conversations with parents, educators, and child-development professionals
  • Participate in interviews, panels, and events (virtual and, when applicable, in-person)
  • Support PR and media opportunities as the company grows

2. Content & Social Media

  • Design and execute a content strategy for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the company blog
  • Create or oversee creation of:
  • Examples
    • Blog posts and articles

    • Short-form social content
    • Basic newsletters and updates
  • Maintain a warm, aspirational, and trustworthy brand voice geared toward parents of babies and young children
  • Cultivate domain expertise in the child development space (read books, articles, etc.)

3. Community Building & Engagement

  • Help build an online community of engaged parents and professionals
  • Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and encourage meaningful conversations
  • Host live sessions (e.g., IG Live, webinars, or Q&As) with guest experts
  • Collect feedback from families and professionals to share with the founding team

4. Co-Founder Responsibilities & Strategy

  • Collaborate with other co-founders on vision, positioning, and early go-to-market strategy
  • Contribute to defining our target audience and refining our message to them
  • Help test and refine early concepts, offerings, and brand experiments
  • Participate in early partner conversations with educators and child-development professionals

Ideal Profile

  • Genuine interest in child development, education, or parenting
  • Comfortable being on camera and on microphone; you like hosting, interviewing, or presenting
  • Strong communication and writing skills, especially for social media and blogs
  • Experience in any of the following is a plus (but not mandatory):
  • Examples
    • Early childhood education, child psychology, or related fields
    • Content creation (podcasts, YouTube, TikTok, blogs, newsletters)
    • Marketing, branding, or community building
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, experimentation, and iteration
  • Able to commit consistent time (e.g., 10–20+ hours per week) to help build an early-stage venture

What This Role Is / Is Not

  • A true co-founder position, not just a contractor or advisor

This role is NOT:

  • A traditional salaried marketing job from day one
