## Pricing model

- Tutoring is sold as packages — typically 4 to 12 sessions, scheduled 1–2 times per week, in 45- or 60-minute blocks.
- Each coach sets transparent pricing on their profile page. Price ranges vary by coach experience and credentials.
- The 15-minute introductory call is free. No account is required to browse coaches; an account is only required to book.
- Payment is processed through Stripe. Coaches are paid via Stripe Connect.

## Fit and refund policy

- If the coach is not a good fit after the first paid session, parents can request a switch to another coach or a credit toward a different package. Contact support to start either process.
- Cancellations follow each coach's cancellation policy as displayed on the coach's profile and at checkout. Last-minute cancellations may be charged.
- Specific refund handling for unused sessions is reviewed case-by-case by the Willow Kids team.

## How introductory calls work

1. Parent browses the coach's profile (no account needed).
2. Parent schedules a free 15-minute intro call from the profile page.
3. The call is a video meeting between the parent (and optionally the child) and the coach.
4. The coach asks about goals, learning style, and current challenges. The parent asks about teaching approach, scheduling, and pricing.
5. If it feels like a fit, the parent purchases a package directly from the coach's profile and the coach proposes session times.
6. If it isn't a fit, the parent can browse other coaches or contact support for a recommendation.
